Once you complete a survey and send it to us at the Heritage Program at the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, we will add it to the Seasonal Pool Database.

This geodatabase stores all the information on composition with the pool’s location in a geographic information system (GIS). These data are then able to be queried through different methods for all purposes or mapped as you see in the figure above.

The image above represents the latest version of the Seasonal Pool Database, which includes all pools registered to date.  For information on how you can obtain locational information to visit the sites, please contact us.

To submit new seasonal pools, please go to “Register a Pool” to enter and submit your data to us directly on line
